Do you know a young person looking after someone who needs extra help?
It’s likely they are a young carer.

Many young carers don’t think of themselves as carers or know help is available.

Who is a young carer?

A young carer is someone aged 4–25 who helps care for a family member, friend, or someone in their community.

They may support someone experiencing mental ill-health, disability, chronic illness or substance use challenges
