We are not an emergency service. If life is at risk call 000. If you need urgent help, see immediate support options.
We know the impacts of taking on a caring role. We understand what it’s like to feel isolated, stressed, exhausted and overwhelmed by a complicated mental health system. Arafmi has been supporting families and other mental health carers to feel more in charge of their lives, have better relationships and make informed choices for themselves and the people they support for almost 50 years.
Need support now?
Speak to someone who understands what
you’re going through.
Build skills and confidence in your caring role.
You might not call yourself a carer, but if you support someone with mental health challenges and help them stay safe, manage appointments, or handle daily life, you are one.
You do not need a formal role or to live with them. If their mental health affects you, support is here for you too.
